Fat Loss Tip - Have You Hit a Plateau? 5 Ways to Break Through it!

If all of the sudden your weight just seem not to be moving. You may have hit a plateau. Not to worry this is normal.

1.First thing you want to do is check your diet. If you recently changed your diet or added different foods to your diet check to make sure there are no hidden sugars, sodium or carbohydrates you don't know about. If you have found a food has some calories you didn't account for you will need to take that food out of your plan to resume losing weight.


2.Another way to break a plateau is to change your cardio routine. If you've been doing the treadmill every workout. Switch to the stepper for a new challenge. What this is telling you is, your body has gotten used to the treadmill and no longer responding.


3.Double up on cardio. Doing cardio in the morning, then in the evening can help also. Yes 2 sessions in one day! A few times a week is all you need , until you see a change in your weight.


4.Interval training is another great way to break a plateau. Jog 1 min, walk 2 min, sprint 15 seconds , then rest 1 min, then repeat , for example on the treadmill.


5.Change your diet. Try mixing high carb days and low carb days. For instance on Monday Wednesday and Friday make those lower carb days. On Tuesday and Thursday make those higher carb days. This will keep your body guessing and not getting used to the way you eat.
